The traditional 26+2 series is the same 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises every class, in the same order. That consistency is intentional. Beginners benefit from knowing what comes next, and returning students go deeper with every session. Your first class, your only job is to stay in the room and keep breathing. A Fews Word from a Long-Time Tucson Yoga Sol Student: |
"Those of us who have been doing this for some time find that it is enormously helpful for our bodies. And, it takes time to adjust. Don't press to do everything the first class, or even the first couple of classes. Take care of your body and ease into it.
"We've found that everyday is a different day and that what we could do yesterday, we can't do today...and vice versa. This type of yoga teaches us that our body is different every day, and that alone is a terrific discovery. It's a great teacher of patience. "While a lot of students are young, you'll be surprised how many students are older. Talking with my older peers, we all say about the same things: It's the best workout we've every had. Our body feels more vibrant when we do it. Our physicians are happy when they see us because we've got the strength, balance & flexibility they preach to us about. "We recommend it to everyone we know." |
