Your generosity was on display with the August Monsoon Charity Challenge.  The grand total of diapers and money contributed allows the Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona to purchase and distribute diapers to families in need.  Great job gang!  And check out Executive Director Dan Moxley's letter of appreciation below!

A second packed posture clinic session with an opportunity to learn more of the fine points of the second half of the series, from triangle to the floor series.

Dan Moxley, Executive Director of the Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona (and a Tucson Yoga Sol regular), thanked the crowd for the support they've provided with their contributions of money and diapers to help others in need.  He noted that our community support was double what they had experienced from other small businesses. Good job gang!

​And the Monsoon Charity Challenge isn't over.  It continues all of August, so join us.

More than 50 people joined us for the first Yoga In The Park... a free celebration of our first 8 week yoga Challengers and a fun, open-air chance for all comers to give the basic postures a try.

We couldn't have had a more beautiful day for the event.  Stay tuned.  We hope to do more of these soon.

Thirty-two students and seven teachers maxed out our enrollment for the May Tucson Yoga Sol Posture Clinic!  

Lead by Diane Faircloth Van Maren with the help of many of the studio's teaching staff, the Clinic demonstrated the basic postures and then participants had an opportunity to get personal corrections from the staff.  

​Lots of rave reviews and many requests for another one soon.

]]><![CDATA[After ten months of preparation, the Grand Opening is indeed Grand!]]>Sun, 07 Feb 2016 04:47:57 GMThttps://www.tucsonyogasol.com/community/after-ten-months-of-preparation-the-grand-opening-is-indeed-grandFriday night of Grand Opening Celebration weekend was an amazing get together of folks from the hot yoga community in NW Tucson and Oro Valley.  Touring the new studio, live music, some great food and raffle prizes from our supporters and neighbors.  What's not to love.  

Lots of ooohhs and ahhhs about the two new yoga studios and the terrific locker rooms.  Plus lots of hugging and smiles as folks who haven't seen each other for awhile get back together.

And, at the great Celebration pricing, there was a lot of shopping and package buying going on.
